Who Did Cain Marry?

If God created Adam and Eve, and they only had two sons, Cain and Abel, then who did Cain marry to continue the human race?

This raise a couple of interesting possibilities.

For example, if Adam and Eve also had a daughter, then the entire human race would be the result of an incestuous interbreeding that is, of course, both dangerous, from a genetic perspective, and illegal (these days). (In fact, this is true anyway, if we’re all supposed to be descended from Adam and Eve.)

Otherwise, where did Cain’s wife come from? Does that mean that God didn’t create all of mankind?

Either way, there’s something amiss here.

And, yes, I realise this question must have been asked and debated thousands of times already, but then you have to wonder, why are so many people asking it?
