Cookies
There are many foods that I love to eat
However, sometimes, it is hard to beat
Enormous cookies, American-style
Chocolate chip, for me, will raise a smile
Or maybe a macadamia nut
Of course this food will go straight to your gut
Knowing it’s not healthy adds to the fun
It’s hard to stop eating once you’ve begun
Easy to tell when you’ve had too many
So go slowly and that will be plenty
