Le Tour De France Indoor Cycling Bike
Many years ago, back in England, I bought myself an exercise bike – the cheapest I could find.
The reason why I had this mental aberration?
Well, my wife at the time (and now my ex-wife), decided to try the Jane Fonda Aerobics record, but she would only do it while I was out of the room, so I thought that if she was going to try to get fitter, so would I.
Well, going cheapie was a big mistake – the thing was so flimsy that it toppled over at the slightest hint of a breeze.
So, I took it back and exchanged it for a more expensive model – still budget, mind you, but at least I wouldn’t fall over.
I kept at this for a few weeks, often reading a book or playing computer games while I “rode”, but then I lost interest, as has happened all too often.
And in the end, I sold it to a friend.
However, this week, while surfing the web in one of my rare spare moments, I came across the exercise bike to end all exercise bikes.
It’s called Le Tour De France Indoor Cycling Bike, and it’s apparently the official training bike of Le Tour de France, so it sounds like it’s the real deal.

I’ve no idea how much it costs, but I assume it won’t be cheap.
Assuming it’s affordable, however, all I need now is somewhere to put it, and some time to take it for a spin!
