I’m sorry to hear about your diabetes – that blood sugar count does sound very high.

According to the table of contents, there is one Diabetic Chocolate Cake recipe in this book, although I can’t speak for how suitable (or otherwise) it would be for you.

I’m sure that you’ve already exhausted almost every avenue with regard to your diabetes, but one resource which I find useful for all sorts of health-related issues is the free newsletter issued by Dr Mercola. I know he has plenty of articles on diabetes, amongst other things.

I have deadly diabetes. When I was told I had diabetes, my blood sugar was 1,012. A normal blood sugar is 80, so I guess I’m in trouble. I rarely want anything sweet, due to what it does to me. But on occasion I do want some chocolate cake. Anyone out there in cyber space have a recipe that won’t kill a diabetic? I find all kinds of diabetic recipes, but the numbers aren’t much different than a normal cake, and I can’t eat them. If I do, death isn’t far behind. Seems odd for a classic car guy, to be looking for a cake recipe, but I am. Hey, I’m trying to beat death as long as I possibly can. THank you for your time. Cooter
