How To Communicate Authentically In Print (aka Finding Your Voice) – A Free Report From Paul Myers

Posted by The Random Blogger on Sep 16, 2010 in Free Stuff

I’ve spoken before about Paul Myers, and how he is one of the few people whose emails I positively look forward to receiving.

Well, Paul writes some really first class material, and he has just released a free version called “How To Communicate Authentically In Print“, also sub-titled “Finding Your Voice“.

This free report addresses one of the main problems in creating online content (e.g. for your site or blog), namely, a “way of writing that communicates a unique and distinctive personality, rather than just another of the infinite monkeys, banging away at infinite keyboards”, as Paul eloquently puts it.

If you maintain a website or blog, or you’re thinking of starting one, then you really should download and read this free report.

Remember, it won’t cost you a cent, and if you apply what Paul teaches, you’ll have a site or blog that really lets your true personality shine through, which will immediately differentiate it from almost every other site on the web.

Download “How To Communicate Authentically In Print” now.

Robert Schimmel Dead

Posted by The Random Blogger on Sep 4, 2010 in In The News

Comedian Robert Schimmel has just died at the age of 60 following injuries sustained in a car accident in Arizona.

I saw Robert on a few shows over here in the US (e.g. Comics Unleashed), and will forever remember his tale of taking his daughter to see the whales.

His style was engaging, as he was more of an anecdotal comedian. (I always find it interesting just how many different comic styles there are – there are the angry comics, the one-liners, the political ones, story-tellers, the crazy ones, and so on and so on.)

As when any celebrity dies, he will be missed – in my opinion, Robert Schimmel was an old-school comedian, who knew the trade inside out. For example, his timing (something many younger comedians don’t get) was spot on.
